November 30, 2012 - Neighbors Who Care Honored with Encore Prize
On October 29th Neighbors Who Care was honored to receive the inaugural
presentation of the Encore Prize from the Virginia G. Piper Trust. The prize, to be
awarded every other year, recognizes nonprofit and public sector organizations
for innovation and excellence in engaging people over the age of 50 in roles that
combine personal meaning with social impact to fill pressing human resource
needs. We are proud to be recognized as one of the premier human service
organizations in the valley.

November 29, 2012 - AARP Driver Safety Program at NWC
Neighbors Who Care is happy to offer the AARP Driver Safety Program on a monthly basis in the NWC
Bass Family Volunteer Room once each month.
The course is approximately 4 hours from 12:30 to 4:30 pm on the second Thursday of each month and is taught by a trained volunteer. December 13, January 10 and February 14 are the upcoming dates. Registration is required
