March 20, 2012 - National Volunteer Week
The week of April 15 - April 21 is National Volunteer Week. To celebrate,
NWC is having a party every day of the week. Food will be served each
day from Monday through Saturday with other special events as well.

March 18, 2012 - Buffalo Wild Wings Fund Raiser
On April 20, 2012 Buffalo Wild Wings at the Chandler Fashion Center will
donate 10% of all pre-taxed food sales to NWC from patrons presenting a
fund-raising ticket.

The NWC office will be closed on February 20 in honor of Presidents Day.

December 13, 2011 - Attention Family Caregivers - Resources Available to You
NWC Sponsors a Caregivers Support Group every Monday afternoon at Risen Savior
Lutheran Church. Click on Other Services in the About Us menu above to get
more details.
Also, A Guiding Light for Seniors is presenting a program named Powerful Tools for Caregivers beginning on January 23rd. This is a 6 week course (also on Mondays) and there is a fee of $5.00 to enroll. Click here for more information.

November 11, 2011 - Rotary Donates Identification Sign for NWC
In September, the Rotary Club of Sun Lakes presented a check in the
amount of $2574 to cover the cost of the new sign at the NWC offices.
Of the $2574, $1000 was a Rotary District Grant and $1574 was from
the Sun Lakes Rotary Club. We are proud to have several Rotarians
on our volunteer list.
