• Sights and Sounds

The Sights and Sounds Group is devoted to the welfare and interests of those who cannot hear or see well. Anyone wanting to join the group is welcome. Special equipment is available to assist those with hearing loss.

Meetings are scheduled September thru May, on the 3rd Friday of each month at 10:00 AM, in the Navajo Room of Sun Lakes Country Club (Phase 1). The Group meets to socialize and share information. There is a different Guest Speaker each month and on occasion, entertainment.

Meeting information, along with the Topic and Speaker of the Month, is published in the Sun Lakes Splash, Calendar of Events.

• Caregiver Discussion Group

This is a support group for family caregivers. The session is moderated by Bonnie Kosar, the NWC Case Manager, who begins each meeting with an article on caregiving, and a thought for the week. The meeting is then opened for discussion of topics of interest.

Any family caregiver may attend any of the sessions simply by visiting the Risen Saviour Lutheran Church, 23914 Alma School Road, on Mondays between 1:00 and 3:00PM.
