Sherrill DiMauro moved to Solera 5 years ago, but says, "I spend most of my time in Sun Lakes."
Originally from Nebraska, Sherrill has lived in the Chandler area for 17 years. Her husband was
ill when they moved to Solera. After he died, this mother of four and stepmother of six needed
"something to do."She read in the Dream Catcher (Solera newspaper) that Neighbors Who Care needed volunteers. This prompted a phone call and her volunteering began. She drives clients to appointments, delivers meals, and works with the Sights and Sounds group. Just recently, she accepted the responsibility as Service Leader for Shopping and Errands. In addition to volunteering, Sherrill loves decorating and is in the process of redecorating her home.
